Voca started as a workaround during a live field study. It became the platform we wish had existed all along.
A real research problem, a real solution
In 2025, our team launched a large-scale qualitative study — 100+ participants across multiple countries, each with important and nuanced perspectives to share.
We tested every research tool available. None of them were built for voice-first, multi-country qualitative work. Transcription was manual. Analysis was fragmented across six different apps. Participant experience was terrible.
So we built Voca. In four months it went from a proof of concept to a full research platform — and it worked. Now we're making it available to every qualitative researcher who faces the same frustrations.
